Deepend - Australian Building Codes Board Website

The project saw a real focus on making a vast repository of information highly searchable and intuitive and should serve to drive far more sustainable building practices in Australia for years to come.

The project saw us overhaul the Information architecture, user experience and visual design across the ABCB site, as well as 3 focussed microsites for their NCC, Watermark and Codemark components of their business. Taking a user centred approach, the strategic direction for the sites was formulated off the back of extensive user interviews and research. This saw a lot of work put into the most valued sections, such as the use of layered filtering within the search function for the research library.

As the Federal body responsible for shaping regulatory measures to ensure sustainable building practices in Australia, the site is now a vastly improved resource for practitioners and consumers alike.
